Plant Medicines
Plant medicines are the most widely used medicines in the world today. An estimated eighty percent (80%) of the world’s population employs herbs as primary medicines and while drugstore shelves in the western world are stocked mostly with synthetic remedies, in other parts of the world the situation is quite different. Even in parts of Europe, for example, pharmacies still dispense herbs prescribed by physicians.
The earth is also full of plants that contain healing properties that can help us both heal from disease or injury and enhance the release of chemicals in our bodies and ultimately, for a period of time, change the vibration of our body. Many native plants, such as the cacao tree (think hot chocolate), contain both nutrients and psychoactive substances that’s can effect change in our mood, boost our alertness and give us long sustained energy throughout the day.
Many of these plants were woven into early healing practices, cultural and religious rituals, and daily routines to bring temporary but necessary bursts of peace or joy as the plant would change a person’s vibration.
Many physical symptoms and diseases that we encounter are linked to our mental and emotional state, which in turn is linked to our spiritual state. In its most basic form of understanding, our spiritual state is that of being and feeling calm, at peace and without needs or wants or confusion. When this is out of balance, then the mind and emotions become imbalanced and the physical body tries to show us by creating physical conditions, from rashes to diseases to cancers, and so we must give importance to this method of looking at ourselves.
As new modern conditions arise, so does a new generation of synthetic chemical drugs which are simply covering the symptoms and not providing a cure. Modern health professionals do not have the time or the training to be able to spend hours with one patient at a time to really dig deep to find the root causes of the imbalances from a mental, emotional and spiritual aspect. It is also not in the interests of pharmaceutical companies to provide cures, nor is it possible for them to do so as long term profits cant be gained from permanently curing someone.
The earth is full of plants that contain healing properties that can help us to heal from disease or injury and enhance the release of chemicals in our bodies. They work by changing the vibration of our body and through that vibration allowing us to realise, to release, to heal.
Many plants, such as cacao (think chocolate), contain both nutrients and specific mineral substances that’s can effect change in our mood, boost our alertness, physically heal us and give us long sustained energy throughout the day and more.
It’s time to remember our past, many plants have been woven into early healing practices, cultural and religious practices and also into daily routines to bring necessary bursts of peace, joy and healing. Plants are alive and have their own consciousness, their own vibration, they are here to help us to heal, to help us to find our way back to living in symbiosis with our natural authentic lifestyle and in symbiosis with the planet as they do.

For indigenous people, The Grandmother is “the mother of all medicines”.
She is perceived as a communicating energy who guides, teaches, and heals. She also acts as a mediator and translator between the human and plant worlds and teaches us how to communicate with plants and use them for various purposes.
The Grandmother is without a doubt one of the most magical, life transforming, humbling medicines you will experience because she (The Spirit) has a way of knowing you, she has a way of showing you, she has a way of letting you look the mirror, and as daunting as that can sound, she does it in a loving, honest and truthful way.
The Grandmother Tea is a medicine that once consumed will help you to raise your vibration and in turn, you will have access to healing on multidimensional levels… and she has a voice… and she will help you to find YOU in your life.
Summary
The Grandmother Tea is a medicine that once consumed will help you to raise your vibration and in turn, you will have access to healing on multidimensional levels… and she has a voice… and she will help you to find YOU in your life.
She will help you to realise for the first time what is really important in your life and show you what is not, sometimes that can be a real revelation, sometimes it can be hard to let go off because we don’t want to deny ourselves some particular pleasure or thing we currently do, from smoking or eating too much, etc., But at that point, you then have the key, it’s your turn to make a change in your life for you, to put the key in the door and open it.
To unlock yourself from things holding you back, to let go of what you don’t need anymore, so you can become the best new version of you, for your evolution, for the evolution of mankind… You have the key!
It’s time to make that change!

This Spirit of this medicine has a Grandfather like energy and is a teacher of great compassion and understanding. The Native American shamans and the Shamans of South America have used tobacco in ceremony for thousands of years, even as early as 5000BC.
Within tribal use, it has always been revered, for its healing and protection qualities, and to ward off evil spirits or negative energy. It has and still is greatly respected for its strength in conveying intentions, messages, and prayers to consciousness within its smoke. We must remember that within tribes, agreements and contracts were signed not by signing a piece of paper, but by joining in a ceremony and passing a tobacco pipe and smoking from it, for this would be an agreement or contract that was bound by the smoke of tobacco and in the eyes of the creator.

It is important to remember these old understandings in today’s society, where we smoke not with reverence, not as a ceremony, but when we are stressed and unaware of our thoughts and intentions. What is it that we are invoking at these moments with tobacco in our hands? We must take time to celebrate tobacco, we must take time to make it a ceremony with clear thought and intention and without our mobile phones in our hand.
There is currently an awakening to source natural, organic, back to basics tobacco and this surge is driving the availability of natural tobacco into western society. Mapachos are a ceremonial natural tobacco rolled into cigarettes that many shaman now use in the ceremony. We use mapachos within our ceremonies to help to clear, protect, and set intentions before, during, and after the ceremony.

It is blown through the nose, either by yourself with the help of a ‘v’ shaped applicator, or with the help of a shaman by using a longer tube applicator.
This is considered a very sacred medicine. It was traditionally prepared by a shaman who would have different blends of Hapé depending on the reason for its use. Some dieta plants can also be mixed with it such as Chri Sanango, which can give you a tickling effect as the qualities of Chiri Sanango are that it works on the nervous system. Mint can also be blended with the tobacco to produce a Hapé that helps with inflammation and relieve congestion.
It is very popular still within shamanic tribes of South America, however it is now coming out of just being used in shamanic ceremonies and people from all over the world are experiencing and producing Hapé with different blended plants.
It is important to remember though, Hapé is a medicine, it is a strong medicine that uses one of the Amazon’s most revered plants, tobacco and so before using this medicine an intention and prayer should be made, permission sought and gratitude is given from the spirit of tobacco, mother nature and especially the plants contained within the Hapé.
It will help to release negative energies within or around you, it will open your energy centres (Chakra’s), it will allow you to feel a circle of energy around you too. It can have a very emotionally calming and relaxing effect and you may want to lie down after receiving Hapé.
It is also common nowadays to take part in Hapé ceremonies where, with the releasing, cleansing, and reflection forces of Hapé can lead to many revelations and evolutions for your body and soul.
Our Rapé sessions are usually run at our 3 day group retreats or specific Rapé day retreats, please see our group retreats or private retreats or contact us for more information.

It also works on an emotional level where participants often are aware of certain emotional negativity they are in that moment facing, therefore, it can be quite an emotionally freeing process and you can expect to laugh or even cry through a Kambo session.
As we tend to store emotion in our stomach area and this also being where the toxins will accumulate before being purged, many participants feel that a significant weight is being lifted out from their stomachs, from their being and their lives.

Kambo also works on a quantum level cleaning blockages and negative energies in your aura and energetic fields. We can take on negative energies from all around us in our daily lives from people we have interactions with. Kambo will remove these energies and clean your energetic fields so you can be clean and free and in your own light again.
Kambo will also remove toxins from the body including any accumulation of pharmaceutical or recreational drugs, so it is very important to detox from any such toxins for at least 4-8 weeks prior to taking Kambo, otherwise it can lead to severe withdrawal symptoms.

Breathing Sessions
We can express different breathing styles in reaction to our emotional state such as, fear, anger, pain, sadness, vulnerable, happiness, joy, love, exhilaration, euphoria. But breathing is not induced subconsciously depending on the sate we are in, it is actually the other way around, we are able to put ourselves into a state by the way we breathe. It’s just that we are not always conscious about it.
By becoming conscious about our breathing, we are bringing it back from a state of uncontrollable subconscious reality into consciously being aware of the sate we can induce, which in turn can help us to change the way we feel, react and be, in any situation.
But before we can do that… we need to learn the power of our own breath, and to do that, we have to allow it to take us on a journey, a journey of all your emotions, from sadness to happiness, from fear to joy, to allow it to express all the emotions that it can induce within us.
We need to get in touch with our breathe again and make friends with it, to give it gratitude for giving us the chance to express, for giving us the chance to live through it, so we can become aware in every moment of our lives, where we choose the right reaction and therefore the right emotion for any circumstance. We support you to create intentions for your session, we create a safe space for you to explore those intentions and support you through a new way forward.
